Resistance : Fall of Man (PS3)

If you've ever played Halo or Halo2 then, well, this is the PS3 game that matches almost exactly that gameplay. Sure the game is set in the UK instead of a space station, and yes the graphics look nicer, but it's still a linear first-person shoot 'em up where you've got little creatures that jump on to you (the flood in Halo, and Chimera critters in this game), there are some human sized creatures, and there are some large creatures. You can use vehicles (yes, this game even has a jeep with a gun turret on the back), and yes you do play parts of the game with AI controlled allies.

So basically it boils down to this;

• If you've played Halo and loved it you'll probably enjoy this game.
• If you've played Halo and hated it you'll not enjoy this one
• If you've never played Halo, don't have a first person shooter for your PS3, and you don't mind a linear story line where doors close behind you and you have to jump down sections you can't jump up, then you'll probably want to buy this.
